Partner session I: COMESA project preparation facility – Opportunities & consultation with the DRE private sector

The session will provide an overview of the PPF’s objectives, scope, eligibility criteria, TA modalities and proposed financing windows, highlighting how technical assistance and grant funding can support DRE and Clean Cooking companies and investors in advancing projects toward bankability and financial close.

The panel discussion will focus on practical challenges in closing transactions, the catalytic role of TA and grants, and opportunities to strengthen collaboration between public and private stakeholders to accelerate investment in the DRE sector across the COMESA region.
