In this roundtable, panellists will discuss how scaling renewable electrification and distributed renewables sustainably depends on stronger domestic manufacturing capacity and a workforce equipped with essential technical and vocational skills. They will examine the challenges local firms face, including limited access to advanced industrial capabilities, technology constraints, and humancapital gaps. The session will highlight why investing in production ecosystems and skills development is vital to reduce import dependence, boost competitiveness, and create quality jobs.
