About

Kaberamaido Technical Institute is a government institution established in 1984 under the Ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda. It is located 4 kilometers south of Kaberamaido town along Ochero Road, situated on a 58-acre piece of land in Abongorwot village, Kaberamaido District.  

The institute operates under the Technical Vocational Education Training and Operations Management (TVETOM) department.

Mission: To produce graduates equipped with appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitudes to excel in the workforce.

Programs: Kaberamaido Technical Institute offers a variety of courses aimed at equipping students with practical skills for the workforce. Here are some of the programs available:

1.      National Certificate in Agricultural Production (NCAP)

2.      Certificate in Agri-processing and Business Management (CABM)

3.      National Certificate in Automotive Mechanics (NCAM)

4.      National Certificate in Fashion and Garment Design (NCFD)

5.      National Certificate in Electrical Installation Systems and Maintenance (NCES)

6.      National Certificate in Woodwork Technology (NCWT)

7.      National Certificate in Building Construction (NCBC)

Kaberamaido Technical Institute offers a variety of short courses tailored to different fields. Here are some examples:

  • Agriculture and Agri-processing:
