About me
Anibal is a senior associate with the Energy Transition Academy and Catalytic Climate Capital, as part of RMI’s Global South Program. His work focuses on empowering stakeholders across emerging and developing markets and vulnerable communities to transition to renewable energy, specifically through grassroots skill development, training, and leadership enhancement.
Anibal’s interests concern equity in climate justice, ensuring low-income communities and communities of color are not left behind by innovations in sustainable technology and urban transformation.
My organisation
RMI is an independent nonprofit that transforms global energy systems through market-driven solutions to align with a 1.5°C future and secure a clean, prosperous, zero-carbon future for all. RMI works in the world’s most critical geographies and engages businesses, policymakers, communities, and NGOs to identify and scale energy system interventions that will cut greenhouse gas emissions at least 50 percent by 2030.
