EEAU is a not-for-profit professional organization for energy efficiency and sustainability dedicated to serving its members, the energy industry and communities working towards efficient use of energy and decarbonization. Vision To promote efficient energy use for economic transformation and better living. Mission To shape the desired future of the energy industry and advance actions towards sustainable energy, efficient use of energy and energy transition through engaging, collaborating with and supporting the stakeholders for sustainable development. About me

Isaac Ephraim Tumusiime is the President of the Association of Energy Engineers Uganda Chapter (the Energy Efficiency Association of Uganda (EEAU)). He has served EEAU in various positions, including Secretary and Vice President since 2013. Isaac has also served as the General Secretary of the Uganda National Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Alliance, which brings together several private sector associations in Uganda's renewable energy and energy efficiency subsectors. He has also been the managing consultant and founder of NEEMAN Technologies Limited from 2018 to January 2025.

He is an energy, electrical, and telecommunications engineer with extensive experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, information and communication systems deployment, finance, and data analytics. He served in different capacities as an employee, consultant, and contractor for over nine (9) years at several organizations in the private sector, government, Non-profits, and development partners.

Isaac is pursuing his Doctorate in Strategic Leadership at Regent University in Virginia, USA. Isaac holds an M.Sc. in Business Analytics at Regent University in Virginia, USA, a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Ndejje University, and a B.Sc. Telecommunications Engineering from Makerere University, a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Measurement and Verification (CMVP) certifications from the Association of Energy Engineers based in Georgia, USA, a nano-degree in Data Science from Udacity, and a Diploma in Energy Use and Planning from Life Academy in Sweden. He is an alumnus of the Institute of National Transformation (INT), where he attained the Executive Leadership Certificate and Executive Governance Certificate.
